WAMBA Family Ride

Weekend of August 11th.
 

A weekend of options!!!
 

Lets make our official Family Ride on Sunday afternoon up in Killington for the Trail Side Fix Clinic, Ride & BBQ cross club mixer with the Killington VMBA chapter… The Sherburne / Kent Pond trails are perfect for our young / new riders that have been successfully riding the Aqueduct trails (Rum Street, TNT & Dyn-O-mite).

Directions:  Rt. 4 to Killington > Rt. 100 North > Trailhead parking is on the right side about 1/2 mile past the boat access.

  • Car Pooling is encouraged

SCHEDULE:

4:00 meet and greet

4:15 Ride. All abilities welcome, we’ll split into groups so everyone can ride at their pace and ability.

5:30ish Meet back at the trailhead for a quick Trailside Fix Clinic(mechanical clinic) courtesy of Basin Sports True Wheels Bike Shop.

6-8 BBQ and news about planned network expansion efforts and Velomont Trail connectivity.

Saturday I have an early morning commitment BUT I am planning on riding at 10:00 AM with my son Andrew at the Aqueduct trails… Let me know if you want to meet up.
  • Aqueduct trails located off of Cox District Road in Woodstock…
    • PLEASE do not park in front of the Aqueduct Garage / Bldg.
