Aqueduct Trail Grooming and Snow Shoeing!

Hi Y’all, Happy New Year! I’m passing on a message from Matt Gray who has kindly offered access to his snow cat and groomer to help us pack out the Aqueduct Trails for fat biking. If you are available to help him, please show up at the Aqueduct at 10am tomorrow. Look for email from Gavin for final call on where we will ride at 1pm. Matt Stout —-From Matt Gray——- The cat will be at the aqueduct parking lot around 10 am tommorrow….sunday. We can load 4 fat tires on the machine. We can seat 7 or so on the machine. The objective is to pad the double track from the intersection of Grassy Ln to the top with the machine. Then we can snowshoe the single track pulling our hand groomer [eg. tire with rope] down hill. I have 2 additional pairs of snowshoes if anyone needs them…..text me if you want to borrow them. I took gavins suggestion and lashed up an old framepack with a rope connected to a tire to create a hand groomer. Hopefully it will do the job. I plan on leaving the unit on the hill for the winter for anyone to use. Think oxen. matt gray 353-8383 ============================================== You are receiving this email because you wanted to receive news from the Woodstock Area Mountain Bike Association.
